Attrition has ground to essentially a halt since the contract. Some of the junior pilots (myself included) keep an app or two open but the vast majority of folks are planning to be here for the long term.

Attrition might be low because maybe we actually like working here. I've talked to plenty that have no interest working for a legacy, skeletons or not. In fact I hear all the time from jumpseaters how they like our crews and we are not a bunch of grumps plowing through a 4 day.

I'm guessing most that voted for this new(er) contract saw the bonus and pay rates $$ and voted on that. I've run into a lot of folks recently that were "surprised" by things in the contract. I can't say I feel bad for them clearly they voted without reading the entire thing.

Sure, I could go to delta and make more money, but chances are I’d be miserable. Income is not my end all, be all. I’d much stay here and help this a better place.

Culture???!!! Hilarious. Culture changes at every airline year by year. Culture also doesn’t put kids through college or buy a new boat. Delta pilots are buying each just with profit sharing checks. Some pretty expensive culture we’re buying here.

That said, I'd leave for Delta in a flash, except I'm getting too old and I'm VERY COMFY, let's call it complacent, where I'm at.
