Except for FLL none of them work for us. They don’t get pass travel. Further all the concession people at the airport, why? Makes zero sense why anyone would do that job just based on the parking situation alone.

I didn't take the Ted interview as him smearing the pilots or blaming staff. He essentially said it was a confluence of events, which ultimately leads to on duty crews timing out, which leads to a cascading series of events. That is factual.

CommutAir is hiring. So is Skywest. Express operations and every other regional carrier operates in a network supported by a gigantic legacy.

I gravely fear that we don’t have the CSA/gate agent staff we need to operate the rest of the summer and fall. With our growth plan, this fall will likely be more flights than this summer. We don’t have enough airport staff to return to a full schedule. We were thin to begin with, then an astronomical number of staff quit this week

Fortunately it doesn’t take long to hire and train for these positions. If they get their act together and offer compensation on par with or above our competition they’ll have no problem with staffing.
