so, anyways, sorry $1 to make you have to post that. I know for next time when I post something. I won’t provide a link
FYI, I didn’t post the original statement about it, but rather just provided you with the link. Wasn’t sure if you were trolling as usual or not. And in all seriousness, don’t leave out links if you were going to post them, they are helpful.

We’re up to 95% completion vs. the abysmal disaster that was last week. Multiple people need to be fired for sheer incompetence! But, we’re pretty much up and running, and those in management make nice statements, another meltdown will happen in the next 6-12 months…..

Let’s keep this thread alive!! At the very least so new hires (like Korg) can be informed before leaving their beloved regional….

I went back and looked and did see that you were not the one who originally posted that. I do apologize!!

And no...no trolling today. I’m off for a while. I usually troll when it’s been a slow news week for Spirit. And lately it’s been anything but...

This will be a “Page 2” thread in a matter of weeks.

Anyone remember when we were all going to die from fume events? Korg would have shat his pantaloons back then….

Exactly, be the "best" at something!

Bad news, SPIRIT really disappointed many people over the last week(s),

Good news, not many of those people were too powerful/influential in getting more regulation foisted upon the industry.

Hopefully the OPS Planners at Spirit have learned some very valuable lessons from this debacle and move to prevent it from happening again, at least without some sort of major disruption like weather etc to blame.

Just like the articles on AA crews sleeping in baggage claim. Not acceptable but also not the only airline with these types of shennanigans.

95% completion factor would and is considered a major meltdown by most airlines.

They’re having a townhall tomorrow. Maybe sailingfun and korg will be available to tell them that this is unacceptable and they’ll ask management the hard hitting questions they deserve.

The only reason Delta keeps their cancelations so low is they perpetually delay a flight that should be classified as cancelled (delayed 14+ hours to the next day). They will bend over backwards to keep it from being tallied as a cancellation, even if it means inconvenience to the passengers by continuously stringing them along.
When I worked for the regionals, American and United would (typically) cancel appropriately when needed. I had a better chance of getting struck by lightning than Delta canceling a hopeless flight.
