I wouldn’t mind being notified via smoke signals.

“Yeah just put in code *911 if it’s really important, otherwise wait until after 21:00 when my nights & weekend minutes kick in…”

Loss of $50 million from the meltdown ... and ... reporting cuts to 3rd quarter schedule due to thin staffing and, along with Southwest & Frontier, citing increase in COVID cases suppressing travel demand.

$50 million... Boy that stings. And for what?? Because they tried to save a few bucks running a lean operation? I wonder what was more expensive...

Seems they are being a little more proactive with premium now..

I wish this was the new norm. Post open time trips as premium on red days and save the reserves for time outs and sick calls.

Seems like a simple solution to me.

Maybe we'll make it up in liquor since we'll still be one of the only airlines you can get smashed on.

“We believe the interruption was a singular event driven by an unprecedented confluence of factors and does not reflect systemic issues.” Mr. Christie said.

So, as with previous meltdowns - nothing to learn from here and nothing needs to be changed. Just bad luck...again.

What a joke!

Is this truly what leadership believes? Or are they downplaying the problem and misleading the investor community?

This is different than what they are telling the employee group. Why are they saying they value our thoughts and ideas for improvement if this is a “singular event”?
