I cringe now every time I fly thru FLL. After landing I just count the number of yellow birds waiting for a gate and multiply by 25 minutes to get an estimate of when the station might have an open gate to get me parked since the station is not able to tell me when I can expect a gate to become available.

And do we really think the Miami ramp up will be any better? Come the holidays this will be an unmitigated disaster!

This whole forum is almost the same 10 people circlejerking each other.
For any new guys, most people here are pretty chill and reasonable, don't let these keyboard heroes influence your perception of our pilot group too much.
It's said that the HR team usually do a pretty good job with recruiting, the key word being usually.

“We believe the interruption was a singular event driven by an unprecedented confluence of factors and does not reflect systemic issues.” Mr. Christie said.
So, as with previous meltdowns - nothing to learn from here and nothing needs to be changed. Just bad luck...again.
What a joke!
Is this truly what leadership believes? Or are they downplaying the problem and misleading the investor community?
This is different than what they are telling the employee group. Why are they saying they value our thoughts and ideas for improvement if this is a “singular event”?
