Not when we’re already deep into it.
We have people that live in most spirit cities. The Y list should’ve handled it. FAs is more the issue.

There has been very little open time the last couple days that was unable to be covered with rsv. They just keep canceling

I agree completely. But if it only took a day for you to get an email reply, I'm impressed. In 6 days, for roughly 8 emails, I've received exactly 1 reply. And that was to wait for a call from scheduling. I'm still waiting on that call 4 days later.....

Selling tickets for 20 bucks doesn't work. Im not talking about current market...biz model in general. Aviation is an expense biz. I guess the poor have to move around too.

I can honestly say from the lack of communication from management and the apparent buried head in the sand attitude that I'll now be applying elsewhere. Again. Seems that this is also shared by people in my new hire class and at least 2 captains..

All talk. In the end, 90% or more will still be here as long as there is an airline. Just like our passengers. They will keep coming back.

Poor training? How much do they need to throw a bag and empty a poop truck? If you're still throwing bags in your 30s, 40s and 50s you're lazy. It's a choice and there is ample opportunity out there. Stop making excuses for people. In some cases it's not their fault, but in many it is absolutely their fault. This melt down lies squarely on management and their lack of staffing. They're paid to make this work and they have failed.

Good luck in your future pastures.

Gnd personnel including gate agents etc. And yes it's a management issue. Not giving people the correct tools (also including training) or manpower to get the job done.

Then there's our it department which I guess is and old 386 or something?
Even just now trying to load the spirit app... Unable.

The fact we have only had an app for less than 2 years says enough right there.

Tech has never been Spirits strength

They made the choice to find better jobs. Supply and demand. If we want to keep the operation running, we need to pay the people who support the operation. If I were king, I would make any customer facing worker an employee. Seems like a no-brainer.
