No nothing about running an airline but I was going to tell him about one that has around 60 Airbus's with pilots that he should buy and then he would at least have enough pilots and planes to cover all the extra flights marketing added.

Haha. There is going to be so much quid flowing on us when this is done.

We have plenty of pilots and planes for what was sold. This isn’t a flight ops or equipment shortage.

Alright Spirit pilots, company needs our help to pick up all the straight pay open time they are going to drop into DOT to help save the company.

Company is so concerned with getting the operation back on track they are offering zero premium...insane
Day 6 tomorrow and the best the can come up with is "dump it all into DOT and hope pilots and FAs pick up flights that we can not get staffed out on the network"

Is this the same company that sued us 3 short years ago, accusing us for a shutdown? And now we are asked to help. Unbelievable

Where is my Quid?

Get out of here with that. Ill stand by that all day long. Me pointing out they aren't using their contactual ability to offer 200% for pickups isnt violating anything.

Sorry but not my job to bail them out year after year. That isnt a work action, thats facts with what happens when we have an IT department that allows their shoestring operation to crash over and over.

No body said it wasn’t going to be premium. Doesn’t it have to be premium within 48 hours anyway?

ULCC bro - nothing more nothing less. Business as usual. Why are you acting shocked? History has repeated itself

Thats a good point. He said "dropped into open time" So they are going to need to override FLICA for inside 48 hour pickups and ill be curious to see if its at 200% And if it is, contractually they would need to follow XY list order. Unless this is another "forget the contract, fly and grieve 2015" event. But am curious to see how they drop it and how they assign/offer it

100% correct. Sometimes need a reminder of that super simple truth. Thanks for the slap to help me remember. Ha

Reserves will get screwed just like last April and the line holders will get pay protected and then pick up on top. Watch
