You mean reserves will be activated to work reserve assignments?

Yep for guarantee while the lineholders double or triple dip

Yes, that’s by choice. Done it myself and have missed these opportunities. Still seniority.

Not necessarily. They can post premium trips in flica. They often do during holidays. Usually has a little “x” indicating it is premium.

Yes, outside of 48 hours. If they are going to have stuff outside of 48 hours that is dropped to recover, its even worse than I imagined it could be. The email made it sound like current flights with incomplete crews will be dropped and then put back into DOT, like its trips in the next few days.

All speculation. I guess we can reconvene this topic when it happens and see what's doing

I had 3 R days dropped for training last month and still went over the 72 hour guarantee. I expect August to be the same.

Solution is get people to check the bags, throw the bags, pull tickets, and answer questions or nothing is going to work. You can’t have a successful reboot without correcting the source of the problem. Flight crew and airplanes was never the issue
