Summer meltdown

One unarmed woman shot by police under circumstances not fully explained, one drug overdose death (hardly a first in DC) and the rest natural causes.
I kind of aspire to die of natural causes myself someday, OD or GSW, not so much…
Per Dr. Francisco Diaz’s official determinations:
• Ashli Babbitt, 35, died from a gunshot wound to her left shoulder
• Roseanne Boyland, 34, died of acute amphetamine intoxication
• Kevin Greeson, 55, died of hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease
• Benjamin Phillips, 50, died of hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease
. U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who engaged with pro-Trump rioters during the Jan. 6 insurrection, died of natural causes the day after the attack, Washington, D.C.'s chief medical examiner announced Monday.
Babbitt, a U.S. Air Force veteran from Southern California, was shot and killed by a Capitol Police officer while she climbed through a broken window on a door leading to the Speaker’s Lobby, The New York Times reported

Back on track.
What’s ALPA doing on messaging against the fake news apparently found on social media?
What’s going on in Miramar? Lots of bad press abound and obviously some of your extended families have reached out for insider commentary. Nothing from the company to employees on what’s going on. After the email the other night I hadn’t heard anything. Didn’t really know it had gotten worse today until visiting here.

Serious Q, would it be best to just completely rebrand the entire airline? The rep would die with the Spirit name.
A massive portion of the flying public unfortunately falls into the “yeah I’ll pay a little more to not fly spirit” bucket.

Don’t get me wrong, I wish we’d rebrand as much as the next guy, but it just seems so unlikely when people only think with their wallets. This current outrage will just become another forgotten memory or a “Maybe I’ll give them one more chance since it’s so cheap” type situation I think.
