It’s that easy month after month to have pbs award you 85-90 hours with everything you wanted and almost no QOL hit for grabbing all those incredibly desirable leftovers in open time? Don’t forget, the original claim was “Doable on 4th year pay with minimal extra flying above your line”

Factor in per diem and 321 over-ride and its really not that hard. Speaking anecdotally so ymmv, but living in base on 4th yr fo pay it’s not rocket science if your goal is to make 150k. Not to mention, if we are really splitting hairs, by the time any prospective new hire is looking at 4th year pay we will hopefully have a new contract with a better pay gradient.

For what it’s worth.
When I was on first year pay, (including three months of training pay)I grossed 80K on first year pay. I live in base and did zero premium my first year.
I also was able to get two months of a build up line after training. I credited around 110 hours each of those months which helped in making some extra cash.

Before everyone gets their hopes up for the first year pay-
My Gross pay was around 55K in 2019 and I did maybe two premium (Xlist) flying events and also had one month after training a 100 hr line. So I’m not sure if everybody is able to get to 80K in the first year.
