APC post from years back. Military guy had offered at FedEx, Southwest, and Delta. He took the delta offer because he didn’t want to fly all night and didn’t want to fly the 737. Now at delta all he does is fly a 737 all night.
Ya just never know what’s going to happen. |

Depending on your age when you make it to a legacy you will make more money flying narrow bodies before you hit retirement due to the senority it takes to be a wide body CA. Don't assume being a wide body pilot is everybody's goal.

Guess they'll be installing in-flight refueling probes on those E190s and CS3...errr...A220s.

they must see something we don’t. https://www.yahoo.com/news/upstart-a...165103003.html Hawaii, it’s an over saturated destination and we don’t do cargo. Europe, you can fly literally any other carrier that has food and inflight entertainment for 6+ hours. People don’t go to Paris on vacation with only a carry on, and the ancillaries wouldn’t make our fare competitive. Our target demographic is storming a Walmart on Black Friday for a $200 flat screen, not shopping at Harrods. Plus you have to make the whole fleet ETOPs, and do like JetBlue where only certain pilots are qualified to do the routes. Deep South America is interesting, but not enough to justify a different type (330 rumors go back nearly 2 decades). If we can do some more with a 321XLR fantastic let’s order some planes and hire more pilots. Just send me a post card because I have no desire to do 8 hours on a red eye in a 320 cockpit. |

I heard SFO, DAL, SLC will be announced soon.
As well as A321neo routes, which is supposed to include a bunch of (longer) routes from BWI. Of course that is far out. I heard all this from a FA. |

I can hear TC strumming his guitar and saying... “Put on my yellow suede shoes And I boarded the plane Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues In the middle of the ranging pandemic”... “but do the Spirit Pilots feel the way they do...” anyways looks like Spirit is going to be touching down in the land of the Delta Blues... I think we just need Salt Lake City now. |

How does SNA fit in then? Just because of Disney and how much Orlando we already do?
The golf, tennis, horse, wine and dine in the snoot demographic isn’t really our target audience though I’m sure we’d still sell them tickets. |

im expecting another city or two soon. OKC, ANC GRR,BOI,ONT,SLC,BHM just a few guesses |
If you haven’t been to MEM in the last decade you can probably understand why NK is going in there. The city was probably giving away the gates. It’s a ghost town minus Federal Express
I’m glad they are putting a Panda Express in, but a new terminal doesn’t help tourism when they are now ranked the most dangerous city in the country.
https://www.wreg.com/news/local/memphis-ranked-no-1-most-dangerous-city/amp/
we could always invoke the section of the contract where we get armed escorts...or just cute escorts ;) |
