Back in day when people left they would say things like “I’m just embarrassed for who I work for at the party” or “it’s always been my dream to fly xyz”.
Now it’s heart breaking to fly with awesome people who say “I can’t think of one reason to stay and it’s not even a pay cut to leave…” or “I like working here and don’t want to leave but I’m well qualified and working for xyz is a career I can trust”

Anecdotal, but I’ve known several to get on with Delta with less than 4,000 and zero TPIC. Not former ULCC guys either. Just run of the mill RJ. I’m sure a 320 type with previous 121 time will be all you need. And it’s only getting worse.

The big 3 H.R. departments probably recognize that if you can successfully get through our initial training program, you certainly can get through theirs. Our hiring team does a good job of hiring good people, there just doesn't seem to be enough motivation in upper management to keep them in a Spirit uniform.
