Junior lineholder is 1/2020 DOH. Plug is 8/2021. Two years to hold a line in DFW and zero growth. Go to AA

yeah go to AA and get no cancellation pay, endless and unlimited reassignments every trip oh and you get to likely fly a 737. Also throw in the most toxic management/employee relationship around.

I’ve been here just over 2 years and I’m under 50% in Dfw.

2 years at AA? That's what I think you mean but just wanna make sure. I'm at a WO so definitely aware of Dad's issues.

Another question: what is the most junior base for line holding at Spirit? What kind of rules do you have for commuter clause?

He asked how long to get a line (2 years) in Dallas. Nobody asked how senior you are. AA is targeting somewhere in the neighborhood of 72-100 pilots a week, pair that with retirements it’s hard to turn a blind eye to that. By the way we have captains leaving for AA and if you don’t believe me, as others have said, contact your rep.

I’m not going to argue with you about equipment and work rules because you probably think ours are unmatched. Yeah, been seeing droves of AA and UAL pilots in class at spirit. GMAFB

FLL is the junior base for everything, but YMMV. Commuter policy is ok. My regional had a better one. Spirit only covers you to your base, so if you pick up in another base, you aren't covered. Big oversight, imo.

You need two options. After the first, you have to call CS(good luck) and they'll decide what to do.

Why would someone give up seniority? To leave AA or UAL? Just like people besides mostly junior folks aren’t leaving here.

you obviously know very little of what life is like at AA. Also people leave here for the hopes and dreams of flying a wide body and not working for an airline that’s looked down on and the butt of most jokes.

Bendo saying that the crews trapped in a san juan basement was no big deal was toxic to the core.
Frankly that alone is one of the MANY reasons FO's are leaving.

and they’ll be in for a rude awakening at their new airlines when the same thing happens there. Melt downs are part of the industry. Everyone has had them. AA was even picketing over not getting hotels during theirs.

I think being threatend by a mob vs not having a hotel is a fairly significant differnece. On top of that, to discount that as a non event is ultimatley the case for how mgmt thinks of its employees on the line.
Not sure why your trying to understate that.

I mean maybe, depending on the base. Not true at mine. I think I still have four more months before I can hold a line but can hold LCR.

Sure four months isn’t long so I get your point, but feel it’s worth mentioning.
