This is going to really hurt them attracting interested candidates. I know a lot of guys at Skywest who were leaving instead of upgrading since they could get DTW or ORD out of training here. If this continues they’ll lose 1/3 of their interested candidates. (Over 1/3 of my MTC and interview groups were Skywest)

I agree but if you're going from having a high QOL, living and upgrading in base, to having to commute to bases that are pretty tough for commuting, for who knows how long, it makes you think. Especially with the uncertainty that seems to being running rampant right now at Spirit.

What does your perceived “pilot happiness” have to do with the vacancies he is talking about? We could be 100% happy and that wouldn’t cause them to grow any base or have better vacancies.
