well 40,000 to 45,000 Americans die every year from car accidents. and I don’t think it matters if you’re in a Spirit uniform or not.

Van accidents do happen.
 

I was in a van accident while at the regionals. No one died but we were all wearing seatbelts. Either the van or the car we t-boned went through a red night. No one was watching so we weren't sure. The van was probably going about 40 MPH. The mini van was totaled. Luckily no one got hurt. Might have been a much different story without seatbelts on.

Second to motor vehicle accidents, the second leading cause of injuries are stairway falls.

Over one million injuries occur each year, and yet I still see most pilots not holding the hand rail coming up from the walk around.

Are you guys ignoring the statistics or are just too “cool” for the hand rail? I don’t want to get stuck on a 4 day with another Anti-rail gravity denier.

Don’t get me started on not looking both ways before crossing the street…

not using a handrail is just gonna cause an injury, not very likely a death, unless we have 85-year-old spirit pilots which I’m pretty sure is not the case.

Keep in mind without a seatbelt you become a meat missile that could kill another occupant as you are ejected from the vehicle. Wow this thread has gotten derailed...
