We have two rigs. Trip rig. 1-3.5. Then an average min duty period of 5 credit. We had 1-3.75 so improved that and that’s where the comparison is potentially incorrect. I’m not sure the 2-1 duty would be any better than the 5 credit min duty. It would only be an improvement after 10 hrs duty and would hurt anything below that. Software will need to analyze existing sequences to figure that one out. We have a whole bunch of sub 5 block turns that pay 5 that would be destroyed. Do you guys have either a min calendar or duty period? If so is it an average?

yeah F9 is "Greater of 1 for 6 or actual block hours" or 1:3.75 trip

Nice info, The deadhead pay comparison for F9 is incorrect though. there is not a 50% provision

That comparison was more than likely composed before our current agreement was ratified. There’s quite a few mistakes. Probably was just updated august 2021.

So, 1 or 2 jumpseats on future (and existing) Fearit planes?

The single jump seat option on Spirit planes was a cost savings idea which eliminated the jump seat and O2 mask and it’s associated maintenance. Same with brake fans and foot warmers and a few other options. Some of the original 319’s and aircraft acquired from other carriers have them.

As far as future orders, changing the spec usually costs money after the order is placed, even years out.

Most likely the bean counters will figure out which costs less and go that route, which may include taking differently equipped planes from each order.

ufff I can see this being a catalyst for NK guys to give up red green days.

Give up red/green? Someone already found the secret stash of good herb the Denver Flying Club smokes from.

Just want to pop in and say that I am so pleased how well everyone is working together so far. If we can keep this up as a pilot group, we will be in for a big win. Together we are much better than seperated. Thankfully the differences in our current contracts are small, so this should go fairly smoothly, at least on our end. Glad to be partnering up with the F9'ers.

It’s been 2 days and the only thing that’s happened is an announcement…
