Ya I was trying to stay positive this first year and push through but the more curtains I pull back the more I start to see why pilots are bailing out. Might as well get PAID to get treated like dog sh*t

Is the bid just going to be a system bid?With 2 extra bases to bid on ? Also when is this supposed to happen next week ?

Spoke to a MEC rep a few months ago and they said Spirit was going to do a reduction bid but decided to pull it at the last minute. The reduction was DFW and ORD with ORD being the BIG reduction. Number I was told was close to 200 positions in ORD and about 50 in DFW. The obviously pulled the reduction bid but here we are again. So that is the reason why my thinking is that way.

The pulled reduction bid isn’t really a big secret and s lot of guys have heard about it getting pulled.

We will all find out soon enough but this was the latest info from the last time a reduction was discussed a few months back.
