I can assure you that my move will be A LOT more than $2,500…. My cars alone, possibly. Now you add in my stuff, packing it, sending it over 1,000 miles….. Insurance on the move….. I’m opting for plan A.

My only pleasure is that somewhere in your head you remember, ah that guy on the forum who cant stand NK because of their awful IT, terrible management, endless hours waiting on the phone with CS and frankly not so hot looking prospects with Franke taking them helm post merger. I swear you must be either just bored, boring or both.
The fact that you even defend this place just makes me slightly sad for you and honestly the rest of us to have such a shill in the ranks.
Was Troglodyte taken when you chose your username?

Clearly this JetBlue move is all about getting Chicago. Coincidence the displacement was cancelled? I think not!

DFW too. JetBlue has said in the past that they lack a middle of the country presence in
their route structure.

Displacements will probably still happen.

This is another point. It would be interesting to see if AA were so hostile with B6 using those gates in Dallas instead of a ULCC.

Until the possible JetBlue offer plays out, I think the displacement is dead in the water. No sense paying guys to move so you can pay them to move back.

Management doesn’t care about displacement costs to move people back IF this acquisition happens, they will be out of a job anyways.

For the sake of the ord/dtw/dfw pilots I hope that’s the case.

But even if they paid the $2500 to 500 displaced pilot twice that’s $2.5 million, which is a essentially rounding error in. $3.6 billion deal. Sad to think that’s what the lives of 500 families equates to.
