If you choose to not use your head expect to have to put up with the hassles. I personally think the union should let you swing if you're too dumb to figure out how to navigate that obstacle, they have much larger, legitimate fish to fry. You're just wasting dues money at that point. As for worrying about snacks from a galley cart, I don't share your concerns. I'll buy my own.

We do not pay for water, cokes, etc..
The section 19’s (I heard through the grapevine) that yes, there was some stupid crap being done by pilots to prompt the hearings. Like I said, just rumor, I don’t know for sure. The union also stepped in and put a stop to the company trying to pull that bs on legitimate sick calls for pilots. But nobody even mentions any of that. It’s just doom and gloom at F9 all the time.🙄🙄🙄

Basically I’m telling you to stop crying, put your big boy pants on, show up to events, get motivated and direct your negativity into something positive.
Literally it’s “you can talk the talk, but will you walk the walk”.

I could care less about snacks or sick calls (although that is bull), I'm worried about ORD, DTW, and DFW closing. Its obvious that spirit was rearranging their bases to match frontiers, which is very unsettling for those of us who live in the ones on the chopping block.

Snacks? Yeah nobody cares. I honestly don't even know what is in our galley carts.

I think you’re looking way too much into this. A merger with Frontier would mean more bases, Barry said a while ago his goal would be a base in every time zone, one north and one south. And I think our bases stand a much better chance of survival with. F9 vs JBLU. This is the business we chose, dig in
Now run, the grammar police are on their way.

Jetblue probably wouldn't close any of our bases (other than ACY), especially not after saying they wouldn't increase presence in NY or FLL. They have nowhere to put us.

Ok, why shrink those bases to fill the others then? Purely a staffing issue? It was just a coincidence that frontier recently closed ORD and then spirit shrank it in half after the merger was announced?

Have you seen the stagnant DFW growth for the last 5 years as AA and SWA continue to price match any Spirit flight?
If anything, a larger airline that will be NK and F9 will give the new company more flights and firepower at these legacy hubs.
There is zero reason for NK to realign their bases with F9 before an approved merger just for the sake of “doing it” for the merger. No merger is 100% and no way they start to close bases because F9 wants them to, prior to the completion of the merger.
We can’t hire to staff
We have pricing pressures in specific legacy hubs
The company will move assets to bases where they can make money
