Facts remain: Shareholders are far away from voting Yes for the NKF9 merger. F9 “says” they aren’t paying any longer.

My guess is NK and F9 are delaying it with hoping that they can create some scary headlines on a JBLU merger being DOA, forcing shareholders to vote for F9. It’s the only play they have. Maybe they can throw a few bucks Bernie’s way and get him on the morning news circuit saying how he will not support a JBLU merger.

Ted, you’re done. And shave that beard, you look ridiculous

Major shareholders will need to go public soon. They've obviously made their intentions not to vote for the F9 merger. Their patience has to be running out.

Exactly. The fastest way for this to move on is that

Frontier cited a specific section in their merger agreement to delay this by 7 business days. Seems a contractual thing unless the Spirit board declares JetBlue superior.

The fastest way for some sound bites on cable business channels but won’t actually do anything.

Taking it to court is the only play, but ultimately that could take more time and it’s doubtful the institutional investors 1) wake up every morning chewing their fingernails hoping there is some movement on the Spirit deal or 2) want to pay their attorneys exorbitant fees to expedite a merger that makes up a small sliver of their portfolio.

as much as I really want the Jetblue acquisition too… I gotta say if TC did ever read your post he would just laugh because you probably have no idea what his next move is or what other cards he has in his hands.

and I’m sure he could careless about some personal attack against his facial hair… he’s probably too busy drinking wine on his yacht.

having said all that who knows what his next move is. It could be to try to negotiate some other deal with Jetblue maybe he’ll only get 2 from JetBlue million instead of 11 from Frontier.

TC, the genius behind Spirit Airlines. Someday they’ll be teaching his methods in every top 20 MBA program

Lol their patience for what? The company has not been acquired by F9 and no merger has occurred. How does one become impatient of what has not happened, when their desire is for something to not happen?

Say what Willis? The shareholders desire to be acquired by a company that's willing to pay almost a billion MORE in cash. Hence why Frankie said their nowhere near getting approval. In the face of a looming recession, I'm sure they like every spirit employee I talk to, want to know what direction this company is going to go. This horse$hit Ted keeps doing is getting old.

You realize that the vote we are speaking of, does not determine the acquisition by B6 right? This vote, regardless of whether of any offer by other companies has occurred, is directly related to a buyout by indigo or top gun or whatever they’re calling themselves.

it’s a vote for or against a merge with F9. JetBlue has done exactly what it was set out to do. Disrupt the original plan by garnering interest in other options besides F9.

So if you are sympathetic to those who wish FOR a merge between NK and F9, then yes, they are most certainly becoming impatient.
