Since combining the two groups will put them under the same JCBA, a common pay scale is inevitable. Hopefully it will be better than JBs current pay schedule though. Both the JB and Spirit contracts are up for negotiation even before the JCBA and attrition to-other airlines hitting both groups right now.

If the mec would allow something that low-balled to go to a vote, it would hit the fan. 283 is less than sun country dos3, and sun country unfortunately in hindsight signed a deal only planning a max 6% year over year increase. New hire attraction and attrition is the company's problem. Our team says they want a career airline. 283 is not going to do that, and would really make us all on the NK side look really weak going into jcba talks with B6. Just my opinion.
