I’ve always felt all bases in legacy hubs stand a good chance of survival. JetBlue wants to go head to head with legacy carriers, I don’t see them downsizing current legacy bases (DTW ORD DFW) to do so.

I think the combined airline will put a lot of pressure on Delta at DTW, and all the rest of them.

Can’t keep all of them and maintain critical mass to go head to head with different legacies in 5 different hubs.(DTw atl ord dfw iah)

My guess is JB will pick two of the mid continent cities and reallocate the spirit assets to make a run at two legitimate hubs with critical mass to compete.

Just my own thoughts.
