Not disagreeing with you there, just pointing out that one and half thousand pilots chastising obesity can’t be held responsible for sins of the past.

2. I guess we will soon find out the resolve of all these new pilots you mentioned with our scheduled picketing events in LAS and MCO on Sept 1st.

I hope I’m wrong, but whether it’s weight loss or getting out to a demonstration of unity, it’s hard to change human nature. The sad part is, the current culture is all about what’s in it for me and instant gratification. In both cases, there’s a lot in it for you, but neither happens quick, so ahh maybe next time.
Obesity isn’t something that takes up too much of my limited operating RAM, but the answer to unity is leadership, and that starts not with MEC reps but on the line and in the flight deck. If you care, maybe the guy next to you starts to as well.

It starts with treating new guys to a decent contract, not telling them “Screw you, you are the company’s responsibility.” Fortunately, if the buyout by B6 goes through the JCBA may fix that.

This ass clown just won't let go. Makes me wonder if I should be applying elsewhere.'Franke’s airline-focused private equity firm, Indigo Partners, also owns stakes in Wizz Air Holdings Plc, JetSMART of Chile and Mexico’s Volaris.

He is open to new investment opportunities in the sector and does not rule out making a fresh bid for Spirit, where he served as chairman from 2006 to 2013, if its transaction with JetBlue fails to close.'

Just trying to save face most likely. I don't think he is very familiar with losing and doesn't know how to react.

Default Spirit shareholder meeting declared?

I guess the next step in the JetBlue-Spirit merger is the shareholder's vote. Has there been any announcements on when this might occur?

Where does NK have maintenance bases? You own a hangar in DTW and IAH correct?

some JB VP was saying the NK MX bases will likely remain as pilot bases too.
