Where is ALPA?

Not many for sure but “NOT A SINGLE ONE” is false. Don’t tout something as fact or go all caps unless you can absolutely back it up. The other side of the equation is there have been thousands of pilots that have chosen to stay at Spirit or any other outfit over the years and not apply at a legacy for various reasons. Mostly seniority.

All one needs to know is this…….out of th 70,000 pilots that fill the ranks of Delta, American, United, Southwest, JetBlue, FedEx, UPS, and Alaska, NOT A SINGLE ONE of them in the past 10 years has decided to leave their airline to come to Spirit, let alone even apply. The QOL BS is a myth filled with half lies and over inflated truths. If it truly was that much better, you’d see guys from that 70,000 pool of pilots bail to come enjoy what Spirit has to offer.
When the greatest thing about working at Spirit is being able to not work at Spirit by dropping to zero, that says it all about the operation, the management, and the CBA including pay and retirement. Otherwise it’s just a group of pilots willing to fly the same Airbuses on the same Jet Routes between the same cities as their Legacy counterparts, all for .60 cents on the Legacy Dollar.

Seriously every single person that thinks this place will survive and thrive needs a reality check. "QOL" Biggest lie of the century there is. As for the name of the forum "Where is ALPA? I can tell you where ALPA is, they all busy doing preimum Y/X list while reserves sit on their asses and get furloughed. it's a sinking ship that you would seriously harm your family if you don't bail ASAP.

Yup. I’m 65 in June, I’ve got my apps out! You people are high if you’ve got more than a month left in your career and you’re sticking around. Good grief, DFW metro plex is also a sink hole soon to swallow 3 million people, GTFON!

You are pitiful. It isn’t funny anymore and you aren’t coming across as optimistic, but as intransigent and divorced from reality.

you just let everyone know who you are since there is only one June 59 pilot on the seniority list.

My sources tell me
EWR has the facilities available in the former COEX terminal to make an easy go of creating a base ops structure; EWR has the largest number of departures outside of the hub/base cities and the layover hotel is making a mint off of the number of rooms required to operate the Florida/West Coast/Red Eye route structure is staggering.
BWI is in the running; however. EWR is the focus. EWR is the money-maker. EWR is the operational challenge. Expect this new base to be EWR.

ACY crew are not worried about "pivoting" - it was a small and it became increasingly difficult to provide block hours to the 90 pilots and 60 FA.s based there. There are relatively few junior pilots or flight attendants at the base, so their ability to commute via air will not be an issue.
