Might want to check that, all airlines have filed chapter 11. Not all have.

True. As we don't have a ton of airlines zipping around the US skies like we used to, the remaining majors have all filed at least once (UA, DL, AA). F9 has also filed. B6, WN, NK are so far in the clear.

80 million in savings. If company costs for second year FOs are around 200k with bennies that's around 400 pilots furloughed could be more or less depending on which workgroup are affected.

Yep, matches up with crew reductions for the 23 sold planes too.

That number makes sense, but I seriously doubt the company is accounting for the metric f*ckton of pilots we have sitting on CJO's at AA, UA, and DL right now.

The problem is they can no longer forecast it with PRIA being replaced by PRD. They aren't receiving record requests from other airlines anymore.

I'm curious, what kind of numbers are we speaking with regard to this metric F#ckton? I only ask because I've only run into 2 guys with cjo's that I know personally. None of the Captains I've flown with have offers or have applied. Many Sr guys have told me they will go down with the ship. Any word when the next attrition data will be posted by the union?

Really no way to strip the pensions out of the legacy CBA's without a trip through CH11 BK court, no pilot union. When the new "entrants" started gaining traction with no pensions, the writing was essentially on the wall, just a matter of when and how much.
