I know the bondholders have control of the company, but will there really be no other debtors to object and force an auction of all assets to the best and highest? Legit question ... really is there no one who has standing in bankruptcy court to the bondholders controlling everything.
The "senior secured notes" (existing hedge fund bondholders) will take every penny of any money in a liquidation. Every other unsecured creditor likely won't receive anything as there won't be anything left over. This was why BK1 was so quick. They just agreed to make their debt the highest debt and exited.

Pilots would only go over with a full merger, meaning acquiring the entire legal entity of Spirit. If another airline or airlines buys assets of Spirit then pilots don't automatically go with any assets.

Which is why no pilots will go. Franke will buy 20 or 30 NEOs and a hangar or two. Those planes will take 2 years to bring on line while they get Heavy Checks, paint, interiors, and wifi switched. They will hire for the growth. No need to bring any of our pilots over when he buys the planes.

And unfortunately, say it’s a company like SWA, don’t expect their union to champion the idea of brining NK pilots over and integrating seniority. Pilots support pilots up until the point it damages their seniority.

Man you’re the most miserable sob I’ve seen here. No one is stopping you from leaving and going elsewhere. If you’re that confident in our demise why are you still here?

VNAVPATH is not a pilot here. Just like 8thjrmanoftheyear is now saying they’d take concessions. That thing left a while ago for American.

Yea, I havent posted in years, but im realizing VNAVPATH is completely ignorant or just a troll. He can't even distinguish the difference between Chapt 7 vs Chapt 11... if he did some research at all he would have seen F9's offer earlier this year before NK emerged from bankruptcy was a 363 type sale. He thinks the Bond Holders have to send this out on the market to be bid on for 363 sale. What a fool... its clear this guy is a troll and trying to promote fear to get people in front of him to leave for that seniority bump. He has no clue about the bankruptcy code and how things work during Chapt 11 acquisition. Just ignore him LOL

This is true... But it is also true that SWAPA and APA have historically taken absolute *****s on any SLI from merged companies. Wherever NK pilots end up, I pray its an ALPA carrier.
