All because there egos won’t let them say…..yup, I should have just flowed. I’d be a 777 DFW RSV FO right now making $400K working 6 days a month, but instead I’ll soon be commuting to FLL, gone 20 days a month, to sit 18 days of Short Call Reserve for $275K.
Dont have to tell me twice. Wish I had gone to AA sooner

Im guessing by the tone in your email you didn’t take one. Classy.

All I’ll say is this…..once you leave for a Legacy, you quickly realize why no one from Delta American United UPS FedEx or hell even Southwest, Alaska, or JetBlue ever applied to work at Spirit, yet we always had dozens of pilots leave every month for those carriers. Spirit is very much a stepping stone. No one grew up dreaming of working there. You had to settle along the way, and then lie to yourself about how amazing Spirit was to justify staying.

the neg committee credits 90 doing nothing beneficial so far. so what if a working pilot busts butt and credits 100? Plenty of others drop down to 60 or even 50 so it balances out.

no pilots will be saved by not doing it. Only more CBA abuse.

I should've expanded regarding the SLI.

Won't change your seniority afterwards, but a buyout will probably result in fences and bonuses (lol) depending on seat.

Maybe hopefully?

In reality, The Long Defeat for Spirit more likely.

Theres very little XY going out and you not doing it isn’t bringing anyone back any sooner. We are not recalling anyone ever.

In fact you not doing the rare XY makes it more likely to cancel which hurts Spirit more than it will ever help anyone get recalled.

Ah yes… that one wide body CA I heard of that makes a million dollars flex. Who cares. It’s not you and never going to be you. Dude probably had to suffer decades to get to that point. Maybe a couple of failed marriages. What about having great schedules and watching your kids grow up? How much is that worth. 10 years ago they probably would have told you’d be dumb to stay for the flow instead of going to Spirit, Hindsight is 20/20.

I think 75 AA CAs made 7 figures last year
Hundreds made $800k plus

This brain wash that only NK pilots have QOL.

Have any idea how many AA pilots max (imax) out and have the last 3 months of the year off, and I’m not talking about FAA 117 max.

Haven’t reduced lines historically been offered to offset furloughs?
