Spirit of NKS
I am happy here, and with the improved contract we are getting this summer, will be even happier
I deadhead and jumpseat, frequently.
My experience as a passenger, is that Spirit is not unlike any other national carrier. Slightly less legroom, non reclining seats, that's it.
The service is about average to great, occasionally needs improvement.
Like anywhere else, we have some awesome FAs and some "tired" ones.
The same applies for GAs. Sure it would help if they were Spirit employees...
Our ramp personnel is courteous and efficient.
Maintenance does a good job overall.
Our planes are not dirtier than any legacy flight, without even considering how many more pax get in and out of them!
We have a great group of pilots who are mostly happy at work.
Our greatest weakness is Crew Scheduling, who is still operating as if they were at their last regional.
Thanks to all who call our Scheduling Committee with questions.
"Hiding" of open time has decreased, since it was brought up during a recent ground School.
Well done!

Spirit has yet to announce it but we are getting more airframes than the investor relation website states. I am not going to go in the details but as an example, in 2017 we are getting 18 airframes versus 16.

Cool. I have no doubt we have expansion plans well beyond what is shown on the investor page but I don't think any Prospective employee should base their decision on anything other than what is shown there

It's going to be an interesting couple of years coming up. But, on the bright side NEO in November, and I'm not talking Keanu.
Keanu Reeves makes a great movie good.

Most airframes beyond 2016 will be A321s. Next month, we can also expect an order made at the Paris Air Show. Time for a good contract.
