Talks about LAS and ORD for bases.
Some technical and MTX issues.
Hiring by AUG (i think) 2 classes a mo.
Upgrades coming.
ASAP if you are fatigue (?)
Plus there are two emails from our union reps explaining some of the rumors on the bases and the infamous 10 ACs.
And talks about recalling someone.
I just dont know, but i feel like we still in a war here amongst ALPA MEC-NKS-and US.
Nobody is ever happy.(that saying about giving bags of money, and complaining how heavy they are, it is so true!)

There's no war. Just keep at least one foot firmly planted in reality and we'll all be fine. The grapevine gets out of control fueled by hypothetical airplanes and active imaginations.

The real war right now is in Washington, DC...not in the Spiritsphere.
If the community organizer and Congressional leaders can't come up with a solution to our massive debt obligations and REAL reductions in federal spending, then default could become a reality. This translates into increased borrowing costs and anemic economic growth.
The ability to borrow on favorable terms especially impacts small businesses like Spirit Airlines. This talk about 10 airplanes, the aircraft currently scheduled for delivery, upgrades, newhires could all change if there's no solution come August 2nd.
The markets are anticipating a compromise. But, if there's no agreement and a default occurs, the fallout could adversely impact Spirit's growth plans going forward.
Let's not let the horses out of the barn without the barn doors open first...

Its good news they're planning all this growth. My point is don't go getting that new boat for the anticipated captain upgrades/hiring until we kinda have a sense one way or another how this debt crisis plays out.
At the end of the day, I get the feeling Congress will cave like they always do and continue to kick the can down the road without making tough decisions on entitlements and spending.
So, yes, Spirit will continue its quest to take over the world by liberated customers' choices in air travel and giving them the freedom to choose only the services they want.
