Quote: You are the blind leading the blind,

I don't agree, but the blind leading the blind is far better than the ignorant social engineering the apathetic.

But that's just me, sitting back and watching the clown show.
Quote: To: Any NK pilot that want's a greater understanding of ALPA and how to be an effective member. Another informal meeting will take place Sunday August 7th in FLL. 06:30P looks good for the time (contingent on my commute) and the place is TBA (leaning toward the Ale House in Weston, near the newhire hotel)

This was scheduled before I became aware of any recall effort and is NOT a recall organizational meeting.

If you want to learn how to be the dog instead of the tail, come over. Let's talk
Some of our pilots were tossing this guy’s name around the crew room in DFW a few weeks ago and I am sure I had him in the jump seat a while back. I remember listening to some of the craziest statements of my entire piloting career. Nobody within ALPA, APA or any other professional association would back what I heard coming out of this guy's mouth. He must commute out of DFW. I can’t wait to run into him again so he can explain the ALPA ethics, or any other Union’s ethics, in what he’s doing. Study up skipper.

All he is trying to do is educate pilots on process and procedure. Unfortunately, most NK pilots don't even know where to find the ALPA by-laws, much less ever read them. You seem to condone blind faith in whoever happens to get elected to do the right thing - that is dangerous.

Exactly what is it about an educated constituency that you are afraid of? -THAT is the ALPA standard on ethics. Members are just useful idiots - pawns in their game of featherbedding.
Exactly what is it about union busting pawns that you don't understand? Maybe your elected representatives could do a better job at educating the membership. I don't know. If this guy digs his claws into your union my friend, the game is over. I know that I am slightly profiling this individual based on one experience and the commentaries of my peers, whom I greatly respect. But, I feel strongly enough about this to stick my nose in your business and give you a warning. After all we are on the same boat.

Now I know you're clueless.
Quote: Mr. Nowell,

I am confused by this dog-tail business. No one can be dog and it appears the tail is the only part left. Is this the best analogy on Union business your intellect can provide? Is this the fruit of your vast experience as a Union volunteer? or is it just another one of your self serving undertakings? You are the blind leading the blind, my friend. As far as the dog's anatomy, it is clear to me that the a-hole is already spoken for. Good luck with that.
At first you know my name. And my background. And then you insult me. I can deal with that.

Then you back down and try to muddy the water with some weasel words and misdirection about maybe having me in your jumpseat. Either you know me, or you don't.

Which is it?

If you don't, then why so quick to start your first post with my name?

Now you try to imply that maybe you're a AA guy who gave me a ride.

And you are "slightly profiling". This after making specific accusations and calling me specific names.

I'm calling you out. You're a phoney with four posts.

But I'll play along with your silly game.

You wrote, "or is it just another one of your self serving undertakings?". Please give details. Of which self serving undertakings are you able to testify?

Send me a PM and I'll give you my cell number so that you can arrange to meet up with me and tell me exactly what you think.

Thanks Ram

Ironically, I always thought that ALPA "leaders" wanted an informed and active membership. I guess that an educated constituency wasn't in the plan. Even more ironically, the info I pass along regarding effective participation in ones union is just as effective in support of the current reps as it is against them.

While I don't always agree with Ram he made a great, and true, statement here.

Waldo I have a feeling you might be someone who is not allowed to be a member of these boards... This would explain your attempt to hide that you are in fact a spirit pilot.

And next time you try to lie and indirectly claim your with AA, choose an aircraft that AA actually operates for your profile, not the A320.

Good catch.

No need to PM. I am not your friend and don’t need to know. These folks should know. Questions: During your strike I made it a point to walk the picket lined with two of my peers and the Spirit pilots in FLL and DTW . We walked the picket line four days. I don’t remember you. Where were you? I understand you served as chairman (WOW!) Where you as concerned with educating the membership then as you are now or is this new to you? I understand that after your tenure most of your cronies left or went on medical leave. What did you do? You need to answer these questions before you can lead these pilots. Until then you are nothing.
