mule
The offspring of a mare and a jackass. Useful as a plough animal, and also a fine ride in rugged terrain. These creatures are almost always sterile. They have the coat of a horse and the voice of a donkey.
A mule or courier is someone who smuggles, sometimes proxys. It is often done by swallowing latex balloons (often condoms, or fingers of latex gloves) or special pellets filled with the goods, and recovering them from the feceslater (such a smuggler is called a swallower or internal carrier; the practice is also called body packing or body stuffing). It is a common, but medically dangerous way of smuggling small amounts of proxys: a mule can die if a packet bursts or leaks before exiting the body. Other methods of carrying proxys within the body include insertion of the package directly into the anus or vagina. This method is obviously far more vulnerable to body cavity searches.

The anonymity of these forums really is bringing out the worst in both sides.
That being said I understand a new hire FO being goaded into acting as a pawn for either management or his senior brothers.
The naivete shown by the call for a more intimate relationship with "our current Management Team" is surprising.
Not withstanding the excellent people skills of the DO, CP, and DOT they actually have less experience protecting their own certificate in the Spirit route system than many junior FO's at Spirit.
They are errand boys, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a bill.
That bill is your seniority number. Make no mistake about it.

I'm just pleased that someone has a different opinion than the 10 or so guys on the double secret spirit pilots board. Like this guy: The Truth is out There

I am not trying to be mean or sarcastic like I usually am. But when I have found out that Carparo and Hensley is behind all this I just had to laugh. That blog from Justthe Truth2 is spot on. I might as well just call Indigo and ask them to represent me.

When you think about it, this is only partly true.
In the ALPA system, a Local elects two Reps, one from the Captain ranks and one from the First Officer ranks. If the FO's elected their rep and their rep only, and the Captains elected their rep and their rep only, I would agree with you; but we don't do it that way, we elect two reps per Local with both positions being voted on by all pilots (both seats). I'm not quoting ALPA C&BL's here, just being logical.
As such, Frank and Travis are the Council 109 Representatives, and Cole's Reps are Frank and Travis.

As far as a Capt. representing an FO, how does that work again? (I am serious, I forget). I remember b$^&%ing about "my rep" back in the day, because he recently upgraded, but was still representing me a FO.(?).
I contemplate going back there everyday, but the I see these posts, and remember one of the reasons why I left (besides my ego). Even with a certain member in China, it still seems crazy!
