1. Don't apply until after you obtain the ATP since that is a hard requirement.

2. Multi-Engine ATP.

Have an app in but nothing back as of yet. Wondering if there might be any Spirit pilots who were ex C-141 or KC-135 folks - or ex World or Republic. Please PM - not sure I know anyone there so thought I'd try and reach out this way.

I just filled out the Spirit app from the Spirit website. That's the easiest app I have ever done, is that the only application site? Also, when asked if I had an internal rec? at the time I answered no. I then contacted a friend I have over there and he explained the value of an internal rec and he is willing to give one. I tried to submit a new app with the change. It did not seem to take. It responded that I had already filled out an application. I also did not receive the confirmation email for my second app. Any thoughts on this?

One more thing. Do any of the Spirit guys have a pilot contact list. I'm looking for an old, old friend that I have lost touch with. PM me please.

This happened to a friend of mine that asked for a rec letter. It turns out there isnt a way to update the app once you submit. I had to call the HR person that does the pilot hiring stuff and she made the change on her end. The other way to go here is to have your friend(if he is willing) take your resume with his rec letter directly to the Asst. CP in FLL. He is the one who makes the decision on who gets a call.

Good luck!

No asst CP at the moment in FLL. Gatten returned to the line on the 15th. HR or space pilot are the only options atm.
