Our vacation credit system is one of the best. And the transition language, well- someone got fired in Miramar for agreeing to it. Mix that in with organic growth and lots of upgrades and there's a pretty positive vibe around here these days.

The point of my remark was to ensure folks understand the snake in the grass that our management still is and why those of us that have been here awhile are so skeptical when things like this come up. Understand that we are not "bitter" in any way, only "wary"- and for damn good reason.
And you, sir, have just outlined why Spirit is my number 1 choice.

Do you get Ambien? I'm used to flying at 0600 one day, then rolling with NVGs and a 2200 takeoff the next, to slide to a 1200 takeoff after 12 hours of crew rest, all with the help of Ambien.

bud, you're scaring me. We're airline pilots. We don't fly missions, we fly passengers.

We need pairings that allow adequate sleep on a normal schedule. Not Ambien.

See, shows you how far I still need to go and how much I need to learn.
I've got 47 more days of flying "missions".

Brings back memories of some guys I've flown with, unfortunately they talked, acted and though they were still fighting a war...but that didn't showed until they were in the left seat, their way or no way. Scares me too.
Figure that!
On the other hand, some of the best CAs I've flown with are ex military pilots.
And then you have the ones that ACT like they were on the military, trying to fly a mission from FLL to TPA and they learned everything watching Chuck Norris and jimmy Stewart.

Chuck Norris has mad everything skills.

I met him once, a lot shorter than I thought he'd be, but still taller than Tom Cruise.

Flying skills? Would you have expected any lesser from Walker?

He needs no clearance, no logbook, no FO, and no paychk, all goes to charity.

On another note, has anyone else experienced problems with Flica? epecifically:

Any of the menus that would show your current monthly schedule, on the left hand side, when you click to look at a paring, it takes WAY too long to upload, but not the open time parings.

??

Thanks

Yep....I just keep an electronic bid packet....much easier, and quicker, to just open the packet and look at the pairing
