From the COO. Take it for what it is. I am just the messenger.
- Current bidding war to get one more ORD gate. If we do get it, ORD will become a base.
- More A321s will come on property in the near future for specific routes like LGA.
- Trying to get the board approve the 'future purchase' of heavier airframes. Strong desire to go further South. Brazil was discussed.
- Trying to 'upgrade' engines on existing fleet with A319 getting A320 engine rating, and A320 getting A321 engine rating.

From what Airbus is saying the 321NEO will have 757 performance. That would easily make deep into South America from FLL and DFW. We wouldn't see those for awhile though.

On another note, has anyone else experienced problems with Flica? epecifically:
Any of the menus that would show your current monthly schedule, on the left hand side, when you click to look at a paring, it takes WAY too long to upload, but not the open time parings.
??
Thanks

He didn't specify type of aircraft but talked a lot about Brazil and how well we would do as a low cost carrier there.

Also, pretty exciting about increasing reach into South America. With the Confederations Cup, the World Cup and the Olympics, Brazil stands to dramatically increase their visibility on a world stage.

I've thought for a while now that we will eventually end up with a bunch of 321neo's. They fit right into our business model.
