Not that this is correct, but I was told it started an eddy current inspection of the rivets, and due to schedules, unplanned mtx, weather, etc was brought back in service before it was completed or could be repainted.

Who knows but I doubt it is random paint stripping if that was the case we would see it on more than just one airframe.

I just read on APC that Spirit pilots get a contractual pay raise this year and next. What will the new year 1 and 2 FO pay be?

1st year stays the same, I believe come August, 2nd year pay will be $70.63, August of 2014 2nd year will be $72.05

Current Spirit guys, correct me if I'm wrong

Are these reposts? The date was listed as last week. I haven't heard or seen any press regarding a departure for whoever holds this post especially the one for crew resources, so wasn't sure if there are actual openings.

Hey Scott, has FLICA been having problems again? For the last two months initial open time request status have now been showing up. Initial open time has been awarded but I can't see if or why my requests have been approved or denied.

In recurrent this past week R.D. Told us starting in March the A320 deliveries will come with sharklets. Also I believe he said the last two A320s have the new wing boxes on the tips and would be an easy and fairly inexpensive conversion. Would be changed to sharklets most likely in the future. Deliveries before that did not and would probably remain old airbus winglets. Fwiw...
