It's nice to see growth, that certainly makes for good BBoard chatter. BUT, are any of you working to support the new direction our union is taking?

That direction better be towards protecting and or improving out current contract.

The contract exists to protect our jobs and careers. In Spiritland, we seem to have lost sight of the fact that the goal is successful careers. You may not like it but the truth is this: the RLA and the protection we have under Federal law is the power behind success. The Contract so only one tool we should be using to that end.

I'm all, like just about everyone else, in favor on successful careers, nothing makes us happier than knowing that when you go to work, decent place, decent rules, decent pay, decent people and decent future....we have many of those, and the best thing is that we aren't top out, we got room for improvement.

A group of pilots with a good union team can achieve that or better. Let's hope we are on track.

Now what direction is this union going that I can't see? And this is not flame at all, just gathering facts.
