would you rather die in the miserable cold? enjoy the next few days up north and try not to lose an extremity with the wicked temps in the process!

I interviewed six months ago at spirit. I have reapplied and sent an email to the pilot recruiter. Letting her know Spirit is on the top of my list AND WOULD like a second chance. Anyone have any advice on how to get a second chance. Do I attend a job fair again?

After using 'junior' in the search function for this thread, I still don't have a grasp of what junior assignment pay is. At first I thought if you were at a junior base then you make 200%, which after saying out loud knew was too good to be true. Anyone mind giving an ex-mil guy a little 101? Thanks in advance.

JA is a way for crew scheduling to cover trips due to a myriad of reasons (sick call, crew times out, IROP, etc). The methodology varies from airline to airline but the call list is supposed to start in reverse seniority order and work up the list until a crewmember accepts or gets "tagged" with the JA. The 200% is a way to lessen the pain of flying on a day off or possible extension based on which airline as a means of remuneration.

Thinking out loud and wanted to ask this. I filled out the long app back around thanksgiving and have not heard anything. I've still got the link that was sent to me, what do y'all think about filling it out again and sending it a second time???

Relief lines are sweet!
