Can you clarify? Is that picking up a trip in open time, or being assigned a trip as a reserve? This can make a big difference and is pretty much why I bid for relief this time.

I had a relief line for two months, not counting the little bit past OE.
I don't remember getting much in the way of credit, but I didn't pick up any extra time either.

The biggest thing I liked about relief lines is, you get the bid award excitement twice, once when you're awarded the relief line and then when the schedule comes out and you fly with different people every trip.

I believe its only if you pick up something from open time. I'm not 100% sure. CaptScott should be able to answer, he's a scheduling rep.

If you pick up a 5hr day trip on a RSV day, you will get an additional hr of pay. If you pick up a 5hr day trip on a day off, you get an additional 5 hrs of pay

His question was if it was assigned rather then picked up does it go above guarantee.

Thanks for the info. So anything over 4 hours, the extra gets tacked on for the month.

This is correct, but only for reserve days on a relief line. Regular reserve lineholders would need to break 72 assigned credit hours to get paid above guarantee.

Thank you. I was only concerned about relief lines. I'm well aware of life and credit on reserve.

Either way...doesn't matter if it's picked up or assigned on a relief line.
