Can we get one of these going in all the domiciles?? Do you think we can get it worked into the contract, have BBB buy us a trailer park?

There has not been any mention of a furlough, plus we are talking about such a small number I doubt that downgrades and furloughs would make sense (or cents) to the bean counters. From the senior guys I have talked to, these LOA's usually go fairly senior. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some captains that bid for one but dont get it. Time will tell I guess....

While on voluntary time off without pay, a pilot shall continue to accrue seniority and longevity. Additionally, he shall maintain all benefits available prior to the leave.
It's in there...Section 13.

This is only true for the guys that were/are furloughed. Voluntary time off is covered by a seperate section of our contract.
Here is the applicable section of the letter sent out by the CP:
"This time will be offered in seniority order to all active pilots and per 13 b.2 of the CBA all accruals and benefits will be unaffected."
And the section of our contract that he referenced:
13.B.2
"While on voluntary time off without pay, a pilot shall continue to accrue seniority and longevity. Additionally, he shall maintain all benefits available prior to leave."

You knew FOX was going to bring up the Ad's! Same thing when he was on O'reilly a while back, fair and balanced (to the right!)
