Usually because they tend to "behave" during PCs and line checks. Without LOFT scenarios as in AQP it's tough to put them in judgement situations like this, but sorely needed given our growth rate. 2.5 year upgrades are great but tend to bring out these types with greater frequency. Put a Pro Standard guy's number in your phone and don't be afraid to use it...it may keep us out of the dirt.

Tired of hearing about 2.5 year upgrades being some sort of liability. Most spirit pilots have years of 121 experience and many of them have thousands of hours of PIC time. Out pilots actually have the advantage of getting 2.5 years of time in type before upgrade whereas many airlines fos upgrade into a new type with zero time.

A two year upgrade really does bring out the best in some people - especially on the 'Bus. Those above are just classic.

Agreed. Also we need to stop spreading the 2.5 year upgrade talk, that is ending. Anyone hired in the last 12 months won't see a 2.5 year upgrade. For guys getting on now they are looking at 5-6 years unless we see some attrition or a somehow take additional airplanes prior to 2021.

We're not going to see big gains in 2015,16 or 17. Maaaaybe 2018. Have you been through negotiations before? That's just the way it is, look at the F/As.

The FA's had a leadership problem whom signed two TA's that there membership would not go for. I was not here pre-2010, so I can't speak to the events or tactics but, while I'm not insinuating an easy process, negotiations with the pilots that extend much past our ammendable date leaves a big question mark to investors. With history of a strike and potential insecurity in pilot labor relations, there are a lot of other places to safely invest money right now and the stock would take a beating. They are responsible to the investors now. With indigo gone, and being a publicly held growing company making the highest profits in the industry I don't think they have, nor want to waste resources on a drawn out battle with us.

In other news, we have an efb department now! Got the comply365 (manual manager) login email yesterday.
