I agree. However this stuff happens at other places too and the traveling public forget just like we do. Don't you remember the several system outages ual had the last couple years? Literally couldn't board pax for hours system wide. That's just one of the many operational "glitches" I can remember. It's just airline 101 and we see it first hand so always assume that these apocalypses surely cannot be happening at other airlines.

Happened at AA on the 80 fleet, at SWA after their cabin blowout, Allegiant with the over wing exits; we're not alone in this. It happens.

Keep in mind our average passenger doesn't fly much and and their expectation is sometimes skewed...meaning, while certainly unpleasant, these things do happen- and the average business traveler understands this. Most of our customers do not. It's the same guy who says his cousin is in Tampa and says it's sunny and he doesn't understand we're flow controlled due to the massive cold front.

Read an article in one of the news blasts on this and an industry analyst called it right; she said all of the "I'll never fly Spirit again" comments will fade away and they'll forget when the price is right next Spring Break. I have to say that I agree.

When can we expect to hear something back from Spirit once I applied? The waiting is the hardest part.

I wish I could tell you both that you will get called. There are a lot of good quality guys like you both out there that would be good for spirit. However the sad truth is there is no formula for knowing who gets hired here. I've seen them hire regional FO's here in the recent months with a lot less flight quals as you guys. There has been a few guys that just got hired with no internal recs.

We just don't know. You should probably go play the lotto just so you don't feel like they are not just overlooking you guys. And good luck. Hope you post here soon that you got hired.
