Just wondering, about what can you expect to make first year FO? I see the pay scale on this site, and can do the math based on min guarantee. Is that pretty accurate or is it easy to make more?

It depends if you live in base, and how often you answer your phone when crew scheduling calls.

How did you bomb your first job fair?? I've never been to one so I don't know what exactly it entails. How exactly did you bomb a meet n greet type event?

Greetings Friends,

Thank you for all the info here on Spirit. I would like to request you some info as well. I am currently in the sand-pit (Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi) and looking to come back to the US. I am an A320/ A330 F/O here with 7k total hours. Been here close to 6 years and feel now's the time to come back to US. I have sent in the application on the website and still waiting for an e mail from them. I see the QOL is quite nice there but how much can I make the 2nd and 3rd year as an F/O. Still need to feed the fam. Thanks guys.

Regards

Shouldn't you have upgraded by now? Why still an FO?

Easy!! When the recruiter asked where Spirit ranked in order of airlines I wanted to work at, I didn't place them at #1. I learned quickly for my second job fair.

Not saying that's why I didn't get a call from that job fair, I was still about five months from leaving active duty, but I'm sure it didn't help.
