When I interviewed, we were told during the company presentation that we were all here because we have the job. They just wanted to make sure that we are the candidate in person that attracted their attention in the first place.
Remember that not everyone who is offered the job says yes. People are also interviewing the company to see if Spirit is right for them, so others may be going elsewhere. That was the case with some in my interview class who had multiple offers.
Despite all the negativity on here, Spirit is a great place to work and yes, there is much room for improvement but we will get there (Hopefully sooner than later).
With that being said, I hope i was helpful and good luck in the process.
Well said.

Never said it was specific to Spirit. And there is a difference between "interested in speaking to you" vs "its your job unless you do something to change our mind." As Aldi said, they tell you its yours, and I believe that to be true. I dont think it to be true to that extent and places like Delta and AA.

Meh, perhaps in the past. However with current hiring requirements, I'd be more inclined to believe if they like your resume, they called you in, you can pass their written tests, it's your job to lose. Much like here.

Of course both of us are speculating. What percentage that are interviewing are being hired? I'm personally not following it too much. Got a little mad in Jan, but just riding it out now.

I'd have to look again but maybe. On flica it's just your base but on crewtrac you used to be able to view the grid in every base. Not sure if it's used now. It's still on the crewtrac drop down menu.

It should still be in crewtrac. It's easy to check for MFV that way.

No not true. I would say they hire 80% or better. They say it is your job to lose. Unlike Frontier, where you walk in and they say we can't hire everyone and pick 50% or less it seems.

Interview prep is as much about how you answer the questions and present yourself as it is about the answers themselves, so the need for that will vary a lot person-to-person. I spent a lot of time getting ready, refining my answers, talking to the mirror, doing a mock interview with my wife (she used to work in HR, so that was a plus!). After all that, I did interview prep at one of the interview companies that frequent APC and quite honestly, it didn't really help much. YMMV. If you think you might need it, it won't hurt. Professional interview prep does not replace your own prep. Feel free to PM me if you want.

Ah okay, I just checked and it's still on there. Thanks!
