Spirit Airlines current hiring
#2222
Just curious.. Ive filled out two previous Spirit apps and have just filled out a third today. This app was different, it asked for work history, school history, flight time break downs and type ratings with time in type, passport number, ATP info, etc. I received the assessment in my email before I even finished the whole app. I've read about the long app that people get, but this seems to be different than the previous apps I've filled out. I'm guessing things have changed recently.
Heading to the aero crew job fair in Vegas in Sept... Finally. I've heard some haven't gone, but I figure it's time to get serious.

22 yrs Military, zero checkride busts.
2470 TT
1900 PIC (very conservative conversion from Mil "Primary" time)

About 2350 jet/turbine (F-15E, T-37, T-6)
About 1700 multi-engine jet
9 years experience in training program management and squadron chief of stan/eval plus some evaluator time probably helped a bit but I can't prove it.

Interview July 29
CJO Aug 1
Good interview experience, can't say enough good things about how smoothly it went for me. All the FO candidates and employees I met seemed to be good people too, a good sign I think. Again I can't prove it but I bet going to the job fair cut months off my wait time since my raw hours aren't anything special. But the job fair interview went well and explaining my resume experiences seemed to catch their attention.
Key phrase - "Quality of life".

Congrats!! We'll meet and exchange stories, I spent some time in the Chiefs and Eagles/Rockets at Seymour.
