Agree 100%. This site is the same people posting over and over again. Some of them arguing with themselves since they have more than one screen name.

However, it is my opinion that if you are near an upgrade at your current regional- take it and get your PIC. Then come to Spirit if you want but having that 1000 hrs in your back pocket is the smarter move.

And I also add another recommendation to those at Spirit, or those considering Spirit: Unless you are currently within a year of upgrade at Spirit, you have a financial obligation to yourself and your family to have your resume in with the legacies.

Be careful Ram, I said this a year or two ago and was chastised for it. I guess it was the timing of when I said it. We were in unofficial talks with the company still and many here were very optimistic. I have been down this road before and was looking further down the road at the time I said it. Now we find ourselves probably several years from a contract.

Still sitting way better than you are at $66k a year with student loans and feeling the need to include my wife's income to justify your poor income.

How much do your first year FO make? I say take home pay of 66k a year is not bad for working less than half a the month. And earning Pic to boot.

Why does it matter? You jealous that my wife brings in money? Money is money.

I don't care what our first year FO's make. That's the company's problem.
You just seem to suffer from a case of low self esteem.
