Uh huh.. And in some cases, a year. Whatever.

To the folks who are well aware with hiring at Spirit. I am extremely interested in joining the Spirit team. If hired I will retire with Spirit.
-How junior does the DTW base run?
-Will DTW be around or are their plans on closing it down?
-Is the only way to be considered to interview through job fairs? or will they consider submitting applications through their website?

Thank you guys.

1. Two guys in my class (very recent) got DTW
2. others on here can speak toward longevity of the DTW base
3. Your best bet is the job fair. very few manage to get an interview without it.

This is a good post. Come to Miramar, knock on the door, and come see the chief pilot. You'll be in class next week. Congratulations.

I attended the Embry Riddle career fair about a month ago and spoke with one of Spirit's line pilots. I handed my resume to them, does that count as going to a job fair?

Aero Crew,

The way I read it, the 500 TPIC requirement specifically excludes corporate and 91K pilots. Is this a correct interpretation? Any insight into this policy?

Thanks.

My understanding is that the 500 hours PIC turbine is either 121 or 135.
