For me, it took 2 bids. I had to go to DTW for a month, before going to Vegas.

For some reason, everybody keeps fertilizing new banana trees with the discarded peels and poop, to grow more bananas for the monkeys at the top.

Sadly, as the tree straightened back up from their toil, the bunch of ripe yellow bananas offered by the second-fattest monkey king was rescinded and raised back up above their reach.

The exhausted pilot monkeys were left without reward, as the laughter, banana peels, and ripe poo continued to rain down from the lofty perch of the monkey kings at the top of their newly reinforced perch.

Classic! Accurate too...

that's awesome! great job spalpa on screwing us again. They are so outmatched it's not even funny. It's like a little kid negotiating with his parents for more allowance.

Hello everyone,

As it currently stands, how much time will it take to obtain DFW base? Right out of training what junior base someone should expect?

I'm guessing 1 month after OE. As an FO you could have pretty much any base you want within 2 months of training.

I think currently most new hires on their first bid are getting DTW. Remember on your first bid, you're usually somewhere in the systems phase on the FTDs. Not even to the simulators yet.

Just plan on going to DTW for a month, then the base of your choice after that.
