The new test consists of random questions from the question banks of the ATP, LSAT, MCAT, and Florida Bar Exam.

Good Luck!

No more written/multiple choice test. I interviewed in March, and it was removed during the interview not long before that. The grade didn't have any effect on your interview. It was more of a way to keep you busy while the rest of the candidates was doing the panel interview.

They stopped the ATP test when they determined it threw people off so much they couldn't be themselves in the interview. They don't want test results they want to see if you will fit with the company and the culture they are building.

14 per class, 2 classes a month now.

For the interview, no written test or sim eval.
Just a 2 on 1 HR panel.

Base assigned in first month of training, lots of folks getting DTW. But you can possibly hold FLL or DTW (and maybe some other ones) in month 2,3,4??? Not sure about this part.

From pilot's, stu's, and gate agents, only rumors. From a management type (a few months back), "there will be no new bases this year".

All subject to change of course....

Same rumor I heard, no new bases this year. Bendo was quite adamant about that and so was JS during recurrent. BUT, I am fully expecting IAH as a base next year, it just makes no sense not making it into a base with the growth and type of flying we're doing out of IAH.

Classes have jumped up to 28/month. By the time a new hire finishes training, he or she has between 40 and 60 people below them on the seniority list. Growth is happening quickly. The latest base bids have most new hires going to DTW for their first bid, that all changes very quickly and any base is attainable within 2-3 months.

I'll add that there have been no FO's added to DFW since August and the line is growing longer. If a new hire wants DFW it may be a longer than historical wait. We'll see what November brings.
