Saw 901 in DFW yesterday getting an engine change. Not good.
Also, according to the station manager in Dallas, MCO opening as base some point next year. DFW has lost numerous flights since the schedule change a few days ago.

The ORD base manager said MCO will not be a base. However, the ACY base manager said it's 50/50. I asked the LAS base manager and they replied "I like turtles". However they are all for Making America Great Again

I've been looking to make a move to the next stage of my career and Spirit looks like it might check some of the boxes I need. I was wondering what the Jr bases are, how long you will be on reserve lines, is bidding PBS or line bids and training, whats the training pay, what kind of length is it and am i on the hook to get my own hotel?

DFW seasonal cutbacks were announced 4 months ago, so it's as expected.

Like all of us I am a professional pilot who takes my job seriously. What kind of delusional idiot would think for one second that placing a magnetic sign in the jetway facing me will influence my work habits at all? Aircraft don't push late because of the front end crew unless it is something out of our control such as required maintenance or some other issue. I pushed about 30 minutes late recently because a sky chef van was parked behind my plane and they coud not start it to move It. If only I had had a metal sign with my push time on it we would have pushed on time SAID NO INTELLIGENT PERSON EVER! I have thick skin but I find this insulting and scary that management is so utterly clueless as to actually think this will make any difference to on time performance. What do they do in those Miramar offices?
