Well they probably exist in every base but I fly with guys young and old that literally have no idea what the other airlines are paying today.

I made a chart that comparing the DOS+4 proposal with JetBlue and Virgin:

The slope is way too steep the last several years. We need to be looking out for all the pilots, not just the 12+ year guys.

I am curious about the evolution of this payscale. It is practically spot on with what I heard it was (Union ask) from someone with direct communication w a negotiator several months ago.

It also graduates at a rate that still shows all emphasis on the top rate. EVERY other rate lags industry average.

I suspect this scale is close to what the union asked for with minor tweaks in total longevity scale and rates but not that far off.

I too would like to see the union ask. Maybe bendy will put it out in his com

I agree. It's laughable that first year guys would still make $40/hr while we have CAs at $230.00.

the company should want to raise first year pay on its own without the Union asking. With all the retirements at the legacies I'd imagine In a few years, only the real undesirables would come here. I guess they just aren't concerned

We need charts that include southwest American United delta etc....if we're not including the "legacies" we should at least compare to WN.

Didn't the company pull this before with "Contract 9000" or whatever it's called? They came to the pilots and offered basically FARs and equally insulting pay?

OK, here's a chart with Southwest included:

Notice how the slope of the pay scale for every other carrier is about the same. If you are a first officer or a junior captain at Spirit, would you vote for this proposal?

Pretty sad that DOS+4 still still lags compared to current contracts

"Remember you will spend most of your career at the top of scale". I can already hear the rationale
